I will forever remember the times that I served with Dave on committees at church. He was such a great part of the fabric of West Green Tree. His leadership on the pastoral search team was phenomenal and His kind but firm leadership in other capacities was remarkable. When I was called into ministry, Dave was an integral of my calling committee. His wisdom and heart for Jesus made such an impact on my life. I appreciated his love for singing and his participation in the church choir. He loved to serve Christ and the Church. I will never forget when we gathered at his home to sing to him just a few short weeks before his passing. He still unashamedly lifted his hands in worship of the Lord. What a beautiful testament to being surrendered to God's will in spite of sickness and other peril. To God be the Glory for the life of Dave Coble.
