Dear Hen and family and friends, It was a blessing to know and be a friend....For the 34 years i have lived in this area,,,she was always there for my family....In the store she always had a cheery word and smile,,,she always offered help in many ways...prayers, food, mentor, God Mother to Jasmine, singing, teaching, rides to the doctors, she even prepared the memorey table for Jasmine's funeral service....She was always available for whatever needed done, and we were always welcome to call on her...Her voice was so appreciated when she lifted it in song to our Savior....I will miss her so much....My prayers go out for you all ....lean on Jesus....for she is there walking hand in hand with HIM and her folks....and as you keep focus on our Lord,,,you will feel her persence with you still...She has just gone home a little while ahead of us...so she can be there to WELCOME US HOME when it is our time to leave earth too. I know she will have prepared her chicken corn soup with those delicious rivels....Love to all....Peggy

Dear Hen and family, It is so hard to know what to say at a time like this. Doris was one in a million and we were so fortunate to know her. She was so genuine, caring, and compassionate. Doris' Dad was the very first person I met when I moved to Mastersonville. He was wonderful! Doris and Hen were both so supportive when my Dad started to fail. Doris always went out of her way to greet us and her smile and kind eyes would light up anyone's day. She was so proud of all of her family. You are all in our prayers. God bless you all.

Dear Family, I was saddened to learn of Doris' passing. The world has lost a beautiful smile! I remember vividly the last time I saw her. A few years ago, we went to Mastersonville for some garden plants, and I saw her in front of the store. Of course I stopped to say hello and was greeted by that wonderful smile. In the course of the conversation, she offered me a cherry - a Rainier cherry, which was a new taste to me. I immediatly bought a box! I am forever hooked on those cherries and think of her every time I eat some - so,thank you Doris! :) May her smile and good memories stay with all of you forever. Love, Dennis Denenberg

Dear Hen & Family, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you as you grieve the loss of such an amazing woman of God. I remember the first time I met Doris, how her eyes twinkled and I thought she reminded me of Mrs. Claus; with her joyful presence. I remember how she always went out of her way to make Angie and I feel welcomed and she always remembered to ask about her whenever she inquired about the boys. Through our long ordeal with Angela she was always showing concern and lifting her up in prayer. Those things made her special and touched my heart very deeply. I know that I was blessed to have known her. Larry has oftened spoken of his younger years with your family and said Doris was always that warm and loving person that I came to know. We know she has gone on to Glory and is singing to her Savior now and for always! May the Lord's grace fall gently upon you during this time. Love, Rose & Larry
