Obituary of Glenn W. Deamer

Glenn W. Deamer, 68, of York Haven, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, March 14, 2015 at Lebanon VA Medical Center following a 16 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Lewistown, PA, he was the son of the late Paul L. and Beatrice S. Foulk Deamer. He was the husband of Lynette Bortner Deamer, and previously the husband of Margie Harman Deamer.
Glenn served four years in the Air Force and twenty as a computer technician, during which he started building and renting apartments. Glenn was very mechanically minded and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed people and using his talents to help others. He especially enjoyed construction and antique automobiles. Glenn faithfully attended Redland Valley Church in York Haven where he was actively involved.
He was the loving father of three children, Brennan Deamer, husband of Michelle Conrad Deamer, of York Haven, Landon Deamer of Shiremanstown, and Miley Deamer at home; adoring Pappy to four grandchildren; and faithful brother to four siblings, Kenneth (Sally) Deamer of Mifflintown, Raymond (Wendy) Deamer of Lancaster, Roy (Barbara) Deamer, of Yeagertown, and Ruth (Glenn) Ruhland, of Camp Hill.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Redland Valley Church, 3555 Lewisberry Road, York Haven, PA with Raymond Deamer, Pastor Brian Willison and Pastor Steve Lane officiating. Private interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. The family will receive guests at the church on Friday evening from 6-8:00 PM and on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
