Dear Jim and family, I am so sorry I could not attend the service for Lois, I was out of own and still am. I have fond memories of Lois from our tight bond in nurses training and afterward. Four of us really bonded, Mayme, Lois, Bertha and me. After graduation we started a circle letter which continued for many years. We visited you in Florida while we were there on vacation with our children. Thank you for your hospitality. May God bless you for your years as a caregiver and give you Peace. Sincerely, Phyllis Sauder

My sympathy to all of Lois's family. She was my older cousin who I looked up to and admired very much. I was always glad for an opportunity to visit with her when I could. I'm sorry that I am missing the funeral today because I'm not in the area but I'm so glad that I had the chance to visit with her recently. Praying for all of you.

Our families shared many wonderful memories during my formative years. My parents shared the same anniversary day, we the girls clothing & even a Penn. Thanksgiving. My mother learned to cook Mennonite dishes, the beauty community and most importantly the gospel from Lois and others; all of which she passed on to her family. I'm eternally grateful for the blessing Lois and her family have been. She will be missed!

It's difficult not to be sad because you will miss the daily interactions,(she's was a phone call away, or across the street or in the next room)but it will only be for a time until you are reunited in Heaven with her. She's in the presence of our Lord, something she has worked for for so long. Be comforted with your many memories and these words:Psalms 121. Praying for you all in this time.

As you grieve, know that I and many others grieve with you. Lois was such a special lady and touched many lives. It was always a pleasure to visit with Jim and Lois. Let time and memories heal your sadness, but always take comfort in knowing she is in His presence. You are all in my prayers.
