Dear family of Leona, Mel and I had the privilege of beginning our married life in Mastersonville, renting from Hen and Doris Faus, across from Hess's General Store, in 1974. One of my sweet memories of Leona, is taking our sons to her Child Evangelism classes in her home. Observing her love of God, family, children and most importantly, her desire for all to come to faith in Jesus Christ, made a lasting impression on me. Little did she realize, that God was using her example in my life to teach me what it meant to be a godly women, wife and mother, and to care about those around me. This message comes also with a prayer for all of you. May the Lord bless you and keep you immersed in His deep joy, comfort and peace, even in the midst of your tears.
