I cannot believe that it has already been a year since Dean passed. I could not access the recent e-mail that I received so I am sanding this note instead. I hope that Dean's family is doing well and please rest assured that Dean is indeed in our thoughts. He was a great person - we miss him very much!

Our deepest sympathies to Dean's wife, children, and extended families. It was with much shock that we learned of Dean's passing. He was and will be a part of our memory for life even though we have not seen him since he played with our children during childhood. We always expected to some day meet him again but now it will have to wait until we meet him in Heaven. Our prayers are with you all for God's strength and comfort during this extremely difficult time.

It is with great sadness that I am learning of Dean's passing. My memories of Dean go way back to our time together in school when life was so much simpler. Fast cars, big 4x4 trucks and hunting were always numerous topics of discussion. We nicknamed him "Num". I had so many great laughs, good times and fond memories. A true friend that would always make you smile. My sympathies and thoughts to Dean's family. Rest in peace "Num" and thanks for being a friend.

Dear Linda and your entire family, I got to know Dean when I was a Warwick Township Supervisor. He was a wonderful man; caring, devoted, positive, enthusiastic, can do, superb in every respect. He will be sorely missed. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Tony Chivinski

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to the entire Saylor Family. Dean will be deeply missed by many people. When I was involved with Emergency Management in Warwick Township, Dean was a tremendous help to me for which I shall always be grateful. He educated me in so many ways. He was a great guy and did so much for so many. May you rest in peace Dean!

As I sit on the deck of our cabin in Tioga County I find peace as I reflect on Dean's passing. Linda, I know you said Dean loved to spend time at our farm. Well, we loved having him spend time there. Greg and I are grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know Dean. He is a man with exceptional character. I will forever remember Dean as he tried to outwit the deer on our farm each year. He was always planting food plots they might like. He was delighted to see that the deer were eating what he planted. I would often see deer near his truck parked behind the barn while Dean was in his tree stand in the woods. One time he tried to sneak through the bottom of the barn, up the stairs in the tack room, and out the back upstairs door only to have the deer spook and run. Greg and I will miss his presence at our farm. He has left many memories behind. Linda, Greg and I send our heartfelt sympathy. We pray for God's grace, love, and peace to be with you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Vicki Wilson

Very sad to hear of Dean's passing. As one of Dean's younger cousins, I have many memories of when we were younger. The two memories that immediately come to mind are Dean lighting homemade firecrackers at family reunions. I was probably only 5 years old, but will always remember Dean lighting firecrackers or shooting his homemade polish cannon. To me, a young 5 year old kid,....this was awesome. The other memory is Dean taking me rides on his 3 wheeler down to the creek to check muskrat traps. That 3 wheeler was cool!! Sharmaine, Emma, and I are all thinking of the entire Saylor family as they go through this difficult time.
