I worked at Wenger Feeds with Alvin. I left in December and about 2 weeks after my last day I heard he was diagnosed. He was like a grandfather to me. He was always there to give me advice, answer any question that I had and even let me vent when I was angry. I can't believe I'm even writing this. Alvin is one of those guys who seemed to be able to handle anything thrown at him. I miss him already. I never saw him outside of work but always found myself looking for him while at work. What a guy! Our loss is Heavens gain! Alvin, if your reading this let us know what it's like to touch the face of God. I will see you again someday! He has proven to us all that God gives the strong life's trials and tribulations so that we can all see how to handle them. He was always upbeat, even on the phone telling me about his condition. I hope I can be just like him throughout my life. Luke 23:43 "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
